Bath
Just a few miles away from Lucknam Park, the city of Bath dates back to Roman times and was founded in 1 AD.
Modern Bath is an important centre for the arts and culture, with many museums, exhibitions, concerts and performances scheduled throughout the year. Of course, Bath is also known for tourism and shopping, of which there is an abundance.

Wilts, Somerset, and the Cotswolds
Lucknam Park is located at the crossroads of three important, picturesque areas of England: Wiltshire, Somerset and the Cotswolds.
Few places in Europe can rival the ancient monuments and ceremonial landscapes of Wiltshire. Within the wide expanses of the Wiltshire Downs the ancient monuments of Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circle and numerous White Horses carved into hillsides can be found.

In Somerset you will find a wonderful mixture of countryside and coast. Long sandy beaches and coastal resorts such as Minehead or Burnham-on-Sea contrast with the dramatic rocky Exmoor coastline. Somerset's County Town, Taunton, is ideal for shopping and as a touring base.
Anyone in search of the true English countryside need look no further than the Cotswolds, considered by many to be amongst the most beautiful areas in England. The Cotswolds have a magnetic attraction for artists, naturalists, walkers antique hunters and everyone with a love for quaint villages, and rural peace and tranquillity.
Lucknam Park is also central to some of England's most popular attractions and gardens. They include:
Castle Combe
Glastonbury
Lacock Abbey and Lacock village
Stonehenge
Wells Cathedral
